    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was the class that inspired me to pursue an education in political economy. Unlike micro economics it doesn't get bogged down by boring equations and endless graphs. You learn broad concepts which help you analyze entire countries as a whole. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in economics or politics.

    Course highlights:

In this class I first learned about some of the great economists of our past, like the father of capitalism Adam Smith, or Richard Keynesian who helped reshape the US economy after the depression. I also learned how to analyze the economy of a country as a whole. The ability to watch politicians talk about economics on TV and then have my own personal opinions, which I understand, was a good feeling.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Absorb all the information you can during your teachers lectures. Macro economics is a simple subject with a traditionally low workload, but that doesn't mean it isn't easy to get confused on key concepts, or even fall behind. I suggest listening to your teacher and taking careful notes which you can rely on. If you do this the class should be a breeze, and I hope you fall in love with the subject like I did myself.
