Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Kaminsky's class because she is great at getting the point across. She is very helpful when it comes to essays---she has office hours that helped in the long run, especially since you get the one-on-one experience. She cares deeply about her students and she very much wants her students to succeed. Essays are not easy but she encourages and helps the students with all her efforts. Her class is so awesome!

    Course highlights:

I learned to write a cohesive essay that flowed (which I had a hard time with). Kaminsky helped me to really be specific and only talk about the things that were necessary in my essays (since I would always go off tangent in my essays). I love how she grades the essays because she looks through everything without missing anything. And if you're serious about English and writing in your academic career, Kaminsky is the way to go.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open minded and always be present. Showing up every week is part of your participation and it helps when Kaminsky talks about essays. If you miss one day it's hard to get back into the groove of things.

The professor is very good, she really manages the schedule and helps us improve our writing skills.

    Advice for students:

Always try harder. There is always something to improve on writing, so try to make your better.
