    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Liu always has the best attitude and is very generous on offering outside class time to help students who need it. Overall, this class really prepared me for my next adventure at a CSU this Fall. I would highly encourage taking this course, you will not regret it!

    Course highlights:

I can honestly say that I learned a lot from taking this course at IVC. This course prepares you for many things such as how to properly and efficiently interpret and analyze what you read, how to use the proper researching techniques to find accurate and factual information, and how to successfully write a research paper. I would give you insight on "what I wish I knew before taking the course" but honestly, Dr. Liu was such a great teacher. She tells you the first day of class what to expect from the course and exactly what the work load will be throughout the semester. It was a little intimidating learning that you will need to write a 15 to 20 page research paper over the course of the semester, however, the way she breaks up each section and the steps she shows you in order to successfully write a research paper made it ridiculously easy to get the job done with no stress. At the end of the semester your final consists of a presentation on your research paper which really helped me learn how to properly address an audience when trying to provide important details and information about my topic. I cannot stress how happy I am that I took this course at IVC and that I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Liu

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course you will learn that procrastination and lack of class participation will get you absolutely no where so make sure to keep up with all of the assignments and assigned readings. Dr. Liu will make you enjoy coming to class and you definitely will learn a lot!
