    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

An amazing professor. Very thorough, helpful, and supportive all the way through! This class is an intense class and goes at a very fast paced. However, with Dr. McIntire's brilliant teaching style, she makes this class very enjoyable, yet fascinating! You will not be disappointed.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the lectures. Dr. McIntire did a phenomenal job describing chemistry is more fun and engaging way. I learned how to apply myself efficiently in class, during lab, and to not be afraid to ask questions. She taught her students a lot of things that we can apply to the real-world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend every single lecture. She does grade on participation, so make sure you're there. Also, do not be late, as it is disrespectful to not only the professor, but the other students as well. Also, make sure you engage with your lab group. This will be very helpful for studying for exams. Overall, do take this class seriously, but have fun with it, too! Dr. McIntire is a life-changing professor, and she will inspire and motivate you in so many ways! You got this :)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Is a great instructor, if you show interest in the class she will be there for you to solve questions, but her exams a hard if you don't study for your notes

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn the main concepts of chem1a, I think that the main part of this course is to learn how to apply stoichiometry and to understand the multiple measurements that sciences uses for the everyday problems. Mol.- is probably the most important measurement in all chemistry because it tells us the amount of something that we are using.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the class and don't skip any lectures, use your book as a study tool , but when you prepare for the exam is better if you just follow your notes. Come prepared for every class, since you have a daily quiz
