Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is very thorough. We typically take one and a half to two lecture periods learning the material. We then also have a lab after the lecture. This is great for a hands on learning experience. The professor also challenges us to think for ourselves, which is something I enjoy.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things throughout this course so far. The class started with the basics, such as cells and structure. I have also learned about blood typing, genes, reproduction, and so much more. Now we are currently working on evolution. This class covers a range of materials which is very interesting. In the future we will be working on different biomes and learning a little more about ecology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to always go to class. You may think that it will be easy to catch up, but a lot of material is discussed in class. Along with going to class, it is very important to attend lab. Catching up on labs is hard, because the stuff you miss is usually group projects with materials provided in lab.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I Recommend this teacher. He really works with you and is a good teacher. Gives plenty of opportunities to better your grade and understand material.

    Course highlights:

I actually learned the material and will retain some of it. Not all of it because odds are I won't have the opportunity to apply it all. However, I have learned something and can't wait to apply what I do know to the career that I pursue.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material before and after so that you can at least understand vocabulary when you go through it in lecture, and go to class. You should do this with any class really.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this course because it challenged me. The professor was very patient and explained topics thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

I learned new ways of taking notes that helped me study better for exams. Labs were also fun and educational, so we all enjoyed participating.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to lectures and show up to class! Also, take notes and do not be afraid to ask questions, it stimulates class discussions better.
