    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is hard but you get a huge feeling of accomplishment. You have to study and Carol will help you anytime you don't understand something. She is a great teacher and makes math less stressful. She is a joy to be around.

    Course highlights:

    I've learned factoring and functions, graphs and equations and some pre-calculus.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Use the tools available like mathlab and studying centers. Practice a little bit every night even if it is just for a few minutes. Show up on time and take extensive notes, DO THE HOMEWORK

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    If you are great at math you'll do great in this class. The teacher is nice and helps as much as possible. She believes in group activities so you would work with 3 or more people and help each other out.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how polynomials and expressions and perfect squaring. Rational numbers and a lot more. Group work helps a lot.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Use the Pearson math lab as much as you can. Work ahead if possible

    Course Overview:

    He explains everything to a tee and is more than willing to work with you about due dates if you contact him ahead of time.

    Course highlights:

    Mainly, I thought the major highlight of this course was its so incredibly laidback and easy to follow along with, even if you miss a class.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you turn the online homework in on time and if you're having trouble, just email him.
