    Course Overview:

    liked the professor, however the course is very different from the first one

    Course highlights:

    lots of different systems and how the thermo is with tons of calculus in between

    Stay on top of the work and make sure to do all the homeworks

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course follows Thermal & Fluids Eng 1 (TF1) and connects the concepts taught in TF1 to real life applications. What feels like useless information taught in TF1 comes to life and becomes applicable.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course was being able to work with a team of engineers from an engineering company (GE) in order to investigate and analyze potential improvements to the rankine cycle to make power generation more efficient.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    This course came with quite the work load from class to class do to having a homework assignment due twice a week. I personally made use of all office hours to work through the homework problems with fellow classmates and the teaching assistant in order to ensure I was understanding all the concepts and correctly reaching the homework solution prior to submitting it. I also took the time to read the text book before class, and rewrite my notes after class to organize them in a way that made the most sense to me. Putting in this work weekly made Exam incredibly easy. I already knew how to correctly solve problems, and the exams were open book and open note, and having my rewritten organized notes made looking up a slightly more challenging concept needed during an exam quick and easy which is incredibly important during an exam.
