Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great followup to the intro course, in terms of material. However, it was much more difficult than Chem I. It requires a lot more thoroughness in the studying and completing the assignments. I highly recommend office hours, or at least studying with other classmates.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about Organic Chemistry. The labs take longer to do, but they are more in-depth and interesting. I enjoyed completing them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest being very proactive. Study the textbook before lecture, and also pay attention in lecture. Do textbook problems and look through the provided back exams. Work with other classmates and complete the assignments ahead of time so that you can ask questions in time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not an easy class, but if you do your HW and study you should be fine

    Course highlights:

Took Professor Sorin back in 2010. She was great, good lectures considering I wasn't a major.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

She wanted people to pass. Gave extra credit.
