    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. It is required by all engineering majors, but also gives you a good idea about what kind of engineering you may enjoy. For example, if you really enjoy the class, you may enjoy something like mechanical engineering. It uses basic physics so overall it is not too difficult.

    Course highlights:

This was a good introduction to basic physics and engineering. you learn about things like torque but also simpler things like working with matrices.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, do not freak yourself out. The best way to prepare is to do back tests because they always have the same format. Problems are also very similar to those on back tests.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because first of all, you have to take it to fulfill your academic requirements. Secondly, it provides the foundation for all of the proceeding courses you will take, so study hard!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was learning about vectors. Depending on the curriculum of one's high school, one might've not seen vectors until taking this course. Such as it is, it is a very instrumental subject to the proceeding course at RPI.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do the back exams for this course you should get an A!
