Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot from my professor of the process of writing. His advice and this class greatly improved my writing and analysis skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the essays. The essays weren't as stressful as they would be in a high school class and in fact, I even enjoyed doing the research and writing them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're dual enrolled, you should definitely take ENC 1102 because it's almost impossible to not pass the class. You get high school credit and college credit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the few writing courses I have actually learned a lot from and the professor was just as amazing, helping you with most anything.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of different writing strategies and how to better analyze text. I also learned a lot of research and citation techniques.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work. That is the easiest way to pass with a good grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Thomas challenges his students to find their highest writing potential. Before taking his class I always struggled with creative writing, and now I love it!

    Course highlights:

In Dr. Thomas' class, I remember him relating his funny real life experiences to the classroom to keep us interested. Never a dull moment in that class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to you, just give it your best. If Dr. Thomas sees that you are making an effort, he will give his everything to help you succeed.
