Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
College algebra can honestly help you understand mathematics more while preparing you for calculus which I love. The book is detailed on the examples it gives and it explains the units in good detail.
Course highlights:
Honestly from my experience there wasn't anything new I have learned as of this moment. Every subject the professor went over is what I already learned about but didn't really memorise. I don't have any highlights as of this moment either.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Do not overthink certain subjects, it is only college algebra. Keep on studying by explaining the unit to yourself then, in detail, write out steps or explainations on that problems.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I recommend this course because it satisfies one of the math requirements for an AA degree. Also, the proffessor is great as helping the students actually learn the subject, rather than memeorize it.
Course highlights:
I learned how to solve equations, interpret graphs, and decifer logarithms.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
The math book is not necessary to pass this course. I recommend not purchasing it. The professor covers everything in his lecture that you'll be tested on. Just be sure to listen, ignore distraction, and take good notes that you understand.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Amazing professor! He is very helpful and always wants his students to succeed.
Course highlights:
I would highly recommend taking Intermediate Algebra before this course, as it prepared me extremely well for college algebra.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Always go to the lectures. Complete the study guides; they will prepare you for all of the tests.
