This class was tough.
This is a solid and needful course for student going into Healthcare professions. I took the online option for this class and had a great experience. the format allowed me to dictate my own schedule for study as long as I adhered to the deadlines. Also there was the constant ability to just where and at what performance level I was in the course. I also highly recommend Professor Arzivian as the instructor willing to take time and effort to help her students succeed.
I have always thought of Statistics mostly mumbo jumbo. Taking this course changed that for me. I now know that as long as the sampling and interpretation are rigorous in use Statistics are tools that are hugely helpful in decision making such as determining best practices for Patient care or treatment. Also I learned that is vastly important to know the method of sampling in order to truly validate a finding.

Advice for students:
A student taking Statistics has to be focused. They need to really master each new learning challenge in order to build the solid foundation they need as the course proceeds in difficulty throughout the semester. Attention to detail and adhering to deadlines is a winning combination for this course. Math Lab or similar service if provided when running into a tough concept thatreally needs to be hammered home.
