The highlights of this course were the discussions we held during each class meeting. Through these discussions, I learned how to effectively express my ideas with confidence and precision. Furthermore, I could then actively cogitate about the responses to my viewpoints.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For students considering this course, it is important to be an active learner. A student will get the most out of this class if he/she actively reads each assigned passage and has sufficient participation in classroom discussions. In addition, it is essential to take notice of the critiques of your writing in the essay assignments during the peer review. Revising your essay after the initial draft can often be the difference in an entire letter grade.
