    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm a microbiology major, so this course is a requirement that I had to fulfill, however the professor was one who supported a LOT of studying. I think depending on who teaches; biology 1 can be very basic but she was very passionate and believed in teaching in depth, not just according to textbook. I seem to find myself stuck with the most challenging professors, and that doesn't make them bad profs but it definitely sharpened my studying skills. I love science so I look for ways to incorporate what I'm learning in school into my life outside of school. Which in turn leads to a lot of research because I'm always asking questions. Is it always fun? Heck NO, If I had it my way I'd be sitting in my room with Doritos watching Netflix making billions but.... na.

    Course highlights:

Of all the things I learned in biology. I'd have to say the highlight of taking this course was learning a punnet square an hour before my final.. which I passed. But I think I need to take a course on time management.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If your teacher says read your pre-lectures...Please. DO THE READING. Reading ahead of time makes it soooo much easier to understand your lectures. I know it's annoying, the pages look so intimidating, and the font is so small that it looks like someone typed up their will..BUT, it does pay off. Secondly, you're paying for the book. I don't know about you but I love my money so trust that I read my book from front cover to back cover bar code!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought she was an amazing teacher who was great at her job. She was really able to get the information to stay with you even after the test. She also was very engaged with the class.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this class would have to be when she would give us surprise extra credit. We would receive it through this app she had all her students download.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

She gives you all the information you need to pass the test, just make sure you put it to good use and everything will go smoothly.

    Course highlights:

cell biology, anatomy of the cell, some cell chemistry, glycolysis

    Hours per week:

Definately do the readings and look at pictures and charts, it's very helpful to visualize things.
