    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allows you to gain confidence in yourself when speaking to others whether that be large crowds or person-to-person conversations. You gain an understanding on how to use your voice to deliver your message in a clear way. You really cannot go wrong with taking this course.

    Course highlights:

I gained a confidence in myself. I learned the fundamentals of body language and how to work in a group. I learned how to be aggressive and take action. I learned to stand up for myself and be vocal about my concerns. I learned a lot about myself by taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to come ready to speak. You need to be able to vocalize loud enough for people to hear you even in the back. You also need to be ready to work with others.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Enslen is the best professor for Speech. She make the class entertaining and if you are nervous about presenting like I was, she do everything to make you at ease.

    Course highlights:

I learned very helpful techniques to overcome stage fright and how to relax before taking a test. This class shows videos so it is not only just reading from the power points.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is usually a requirement and it is an easy A. Even though there are some who are petrified of presenting it is not that bad since students in the class are respectable. You do need to buy the book because she does do quizzes from them.
