Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Before taking this class i was a mess. Not only that i could not talk in front of the class, i also could not interact with a lot of youth outside of class. It was hard for me to even give out opinions to other people but then i took her class and i feel like a new and improved person when i walked out of the class. i have never felt so successful until i took this class. my other grades are a mess and my life was difficult but this class and the professor herself is what kept me together.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course helped me gain a lot of confidence. it helped me to be brave and not be afraid to believe in whatever i wanted to believe in. We are all a family in that class and it really felt like it too. I learned that in any situation whether its hard or not, work it out. Trust me if i felt a tremendous difference and got through it, you wil too !

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course may be difficult sometimes but doing your best at improving from the first speech to the last speech, it will impress Ms Horrell. She is looking at how much you are growing and wants to help you succeed. I promise if you just follow direction, you will do just fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is truly a class that you actually need. It doesn't matter if you're shy or you hate speaking in front of an audience, since it is public speaking you actually learn how to be a good, professional speaker; a skill that will help you tremendously no matter what field you're going into. I really did see a big difference in myself when I finished the class, and even though I am no professional I can now give a speech being confident in myself because of what I learned in this class.

    Course highlights:

You meet all kinds of people, or speakers in this case. I got a chance to see people who are actually not that bad at public speaking and there are people who are terrified and show it, you get to learn a lot from seeing both kinds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid, be confident in your speech. Practice practice , practice your speech until you almost memorize it, when it's time to give the speech to the class you sound so professional like you know what you are talking about, do not be afraid.
