Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Good teacher, material taught well, and the homework was understandable.

    Course highlights:

Basically, listen to the teacher and always read the book. Sometimes the teacher will accidentally skip over a topic and also it is good to hear the material explained two different ways.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan to take General Chemistry II, I would highly recommend taking this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lang is one of the best chemistry professors UAH has to offer. He has a good understanding of where most students have trouble, and he is able to explain the information well. He also is very good about helping the students do their best. He does tend to talk little fast though.

    Course highlights:

We covered Chapters 12 through 24 of the textbook during the spring semester, with topics ranging from reaction kinetics to nuclear energy. It is hard to write down all we covered as the course covered a lot of material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the Homework a little early. Sometimes it is helpful to print out the lecture slides and bring them to class. Pay attention in class and try to answer the professor's questions, the material sinks in a lot better this way than waiting until the last minute to study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because Dr. Twigg is an excellent and compassionate professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned about acid-base equilibria, reaction rates, and thermodynamics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend doing all of the online homework and preparing for tests by taking the practice exams given.
