    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are an accounting major Claudio is the professor who will help you not just memorize the information but understand and learn the information.

    Course highlights:

I learned the fundamental accounting equation, and I learned about the different types of financial statements. I also learned about each individual part of the fundamental accounting equation: assets, expenses, dividends, liabilities, stockholders' equity, and revenue.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Accounting isn't for everyone and that's okay; however, it is very interesting and as long as you have a good teacher and its something you like then I definitely recommend taking this course.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Accounting is boring but what it can do for one is great. It teaches concepts and principles that can be applied to any business. It opens many doors in the business world. Accounting requires a lot of discipline because of all the standards and guidelines.

    Course highlights:

I have gained more knowledge about how a business operates. I have always desired to know how exactly a business works and how they make profit, why they go bankrupt and how exactly merchandising works. Of course we have gone more in depth like depreciation of an asset, accounts receivables, debits and credits, the different types of financial statements, perpetual and periodic inventory system, and bank reconciliations. it may not be the most exciting but the amount of information gained is truly helpful in the real world because "he who has the gold rules." To know accounting is truly advantageous.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters and study vocabulary. Make sure you know how to solve for calculations such as net sales, cost of goods sold, average turnover rate and all other calculations.
