Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an interesting course on culture in general, but also specifically in Latin America

    Course highlights:

It really opened my eyes to how diverse cultures can be, and i was able to learn more about religion.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study the definitions as much as possible, and be very opened minded otherwise it will be a difficult class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Ron Foster is such an incredible teacher! Really brought the class to life, but the subject material was super interesting as well! Freshman are required to take a cultural seminar class, and I would definitely recommend this Music in Film class. A combination of music in movies and culture. So enlightening and super fun to watch movie clips and listen to music!

    Course highlights:

There aren't any specific highlights, the entire course was awesome! Professor Foster really brings the subject matter to life and gets to know every student on a personal level. Each class period consists of a class discussion related to the required books, then you watch clips from multiple different movies and talk about how the music enhances the film.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the chapters in the books! You have a group discussion related to the required reading every class period. Other than that, ENJOY!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He has really good ideas and makes the class comfortable. There's a lot of meaningful content.

    Course highlights:

The oral exam did seem scary at first, bit if you read the book, take nptes, and follow the review sheet you'll do fine.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's hard to take notes in class because of its seminar style. Mark comments when reading books.
