    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself was set up pretty well, it was mostly an online course so we would read the powerpoints to learn the material and apply what we learned by taking the quizzes and exams. I do believe for myself and most of my other classmates that we struggled at first because we were not experienced with taking a primarily online course so that was a huge adjustment from having in person lectures to being self taught and holding myself accountable.

    Course highlights:

The application paper on neurological disorders was really beneficial and allowed me to research a couple different disorders learning about what areas within the body is affected by it and the physiology behind it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Staying on top of the lectures and studying so you aren't cramming last minute right before the exam or quiz to learn the material. I wish I would have put in more time to asking questions and applying the material as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course has helped me learn about the many neurological disorders a therapist might come across, and how therapy may or may not benefit a patient with a neurological disorder.

    Course highlights:

Andy was a great professor, and was able to break down hard concepts for us students to understand. We learned neuroanatomy, the functions of the many parts of the brain, neurological disorders, dermatomes, how action potentials are sent, and we learned a lot about spinal cord lesions and how that might affect a patient (at different cord levels).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make note cards with pictures of the brain on the back and highlight the certain region you are focusing on, also drawing out the signals sent from the body to the brain helps understand where synapses occur, and how a spinal cord lesion might affect these pathways.
