    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking this course with Loredo, because she does not make the material interesting to learn. She just reads off the powerpoint slides.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of many of the bodies systems, like the integument system, muscular system.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do online assignments, study before quizzes and always review your notes

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class enhances knowledge and builds fundamental knowledge needed for all aspiring healthcare professionals. Dr. Hanson does a phenomenal job at applications of what we are learning in class and comparing it to the field in which we will go into. She cares about her students and does a thorough and detailed job at teaching her students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the labs. Being a hands on learner, the labs challenge you to learn in a setting where you are able to come up with your own dialogue of how you are learning the subject. The models are available for students and the labs correspond with the lecture very well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To a student considering this class, definitely take this course. The fundamental knowledge is eye opening. Even people who are not entering a medical field, to learn about the body and how you function as a living organism is truly amazing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great starting class! It was perfect to take freshman year in order to know if health care is truly the path for you.

    Course highlights:

ANP130 lecture and lab focus a lot on the basics of the human body. This class goes into a lot of detail and it is easy for students to fall behind. My favorite part of the class was learning muscles and bones!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best way to truly learn is to study a little bit each day. Notecards were specifically helpful in this class. Looking over the lab manual before lab each week was also very helpful.
