    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great course if you are seeking challenging work in the English Field. It really helps with learning to write essays well and succinctly which is important for later classes, college work, and is very important for college applications. This is also great for looking at great American novels and being able to analyze works of literature. The possible college credit is awesome too.

    Course highlights:

I learned, like I said above, how to write essays and write them well. Also learning to understand the language and composition of works was very helpful.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is at least as I found it was a new level of English course compared to the previous two courses. Taking any AP class you are expected to do work approaching college level. The teacher will work with you but do not miss deadlines. It is a really fun and rewarding course but it requires real effort on the part of the students

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course of AP English because it will help you better understand how to analyze poetry and more advanced literature. Also, you learn a deeper meaning when reading and writing, such as, AP styles essays, which prepares you for AP Literature and Composition.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make essays flow and how to write like more of a mature and proper student. It alos helped me understand and analyze poetry as a whole and to see the deeper meaning rather than the surface of the poem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to learn a deeper understanding of reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you will understand how to analyze poetry and different types of literature along with understanding the deeper meaning to the reading as well. Students will also learn how to write well written AP style essays, which prepare you for the AP Literature and Composition exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make essays flow and how to write like a more mature and proper students. This course helped me understand and analyze poetry as a whole and to see the deeper meaning rather than the surface of the poem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You just need to have determination to never give up and to just keep writing essays. You will write a whole bunch of essays, but they will make you a better writer no matter how much you hate them. Always write to your best ability because no essay is a dumb essay.
