Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course gave so much information on the human body that I never knew before and also really stuck with me after the course finished.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of this course is all the dissections we do, mostly the cat dissection. Seeing all the muscles up close and seeing when you move a body part how the muscle moves with it. Another highlight was the Stanford field trip which showed how new technology helps future surgeons. We also got to hold a human brain and see it up close to see the intricacy of a brain.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students need to rigoursly study the information given during notes especially the same day that the information was taught. Students also need to have a firm grasp of the information as a whole and not just how one part works.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is both challenging and interesting enough to make me want to be challenged. The teacher is very organized and she makes sure you have learned the content. There are also different opportunities to visit Stanford to see cadavers, and different camp opportunities to learn about different medical tools.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the various systems in the human body, and the highlight is probably the cat dissection at the end of the school year. Although visiting Stanford and seeing their cadavers and learning about cadavers is equally appealing and fascinating in its own way.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate or slack off as it will not benefit you in the end, it will just make things much harder. Make sure to listen to the teacher and do not get her mad because it will help nobody if the teacher is mad.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend to all the students interested in the medical field.

    Course highlights:

I learned the anatomy and physiology of the human body. I learned how the body functions and maintain homeostasis. The dissections of the organs are my favorite part of the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend the students to stay on top of the work load. Students shouldn't be absent because everyday is important. Students should be organized because every worksheet and notes are helpful in the tests or quizzes.
