Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Vandeventer is an excellent teacher who is thorough with her lessons and helps students understand the different sections in the subjects: providing after school tutoring and pre-test review for those who ask for it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the in-class homework completion and the lessons which were explained both with written and verbal exercises in class. I learned how to neatly complete my work and understand difficult concepts through explanations and activities. I also learned techniques for successfully passing quizzes and tests as well as preparing for questions which were added to the new SAT test.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to dedicate time to doing homework and coming to school with questions if you do not understand a section. It would also be useful to prepare study guides in preparation for quizzes and tests. The more time you put into studying the better. Do not write off this class as too much work. Precalculus will help you especially if you are considering a job in engineering or science, because this class prepares you for Calculus in college.
