    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking AP Biology because the course will help prepare you for what college is really like. Not only that, but the teacher tries to make sure that you also understand what is happening. She takes the time to see if you are actually paying attention and how well you use the notes to correlate it to everyday life.

    Course highlights:

While taking AP Bio I learned about ecology, the systems of the body, how we as humans have affected our environment and much more. We cover nearly all topics gone over in the AP Biology test and work to make sure we understand each topic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying and asking questions is vital. If you neglect to perform either of these duties, you'll suffer the consequences. Also, do not be afraid to start a study group with your classmates, not only will this boost our friendships but it's a good way for you to exchange information and study resources.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Every aspect of it is is challenging but also very interesting. There was not a chapter we learned where I was not totally intrigued.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to absorb information and study for a college level class. The highlights of this class were the many hands on labs that helped with learning the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the work outside of class. Do not put everything off until the day before a project is due or a test. Ask questions as soon as you think of them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is very diverse in what we learn , because of the interest of the subject. Our teacher encourages us to ask question and to try to formulate ideas and theories that might not have been discussed yet.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the discussions we have talking about the complex topics we are taught. We break down the topics and get to the core of them. I learned to never give up when faced with a challenging topic and that through persistence it will be figured out.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go for the gold! Work hard and you will get to the fun and exciting topics which will be a little more relaxing than the other rigorous topics.
