This class was tough.
I would recommend this course if you have a history career in mind. I was really interested in this club because I knew the rigor of APUSH was going to be challenging, and after half of the year, I can say that it is. I would recommend it if you are dedicated and focused.
We learned a lot of history. We went in chronological order starting with Native America and Indian culture, then British imperialism, American colonialism, the fight for independence, and then the thirteen colonies, and then the American expansionism, the Indian suppression, and the Civil War, and the Reconstruction. Currently, we are in the Gilded Age and are headed to the Progressive Era.

Advice for students:
I would say that you must read the book. Also, use resources outside of class. APUSH is not to be taken lightly, and if you do not focus and make this class a priority you will fail. This is something that takes time, not necessarily skillfulness in the area of history.
