Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class made learning Spanish grammar really straightforward, and I still remember a lot of what I learned two years later. It's very collaborative and allows you to really practice the language with your classmates and interact with Spanish media.

    Course highlights:

I loved all the Spanish-language movies we watched, from La Misma Luna to Los Diarios de Motocicleta. It really helped us get a feel for different Latin American cultures and how us learning Spanish could help us understand these cultures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework! A lot of people think you can slack off in Spanish, but it helps you learn so much if you do the work at home and come to class prepared. Also, Sra. Oseguera was super sweet and she's always willing to help anyone or answer any question.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allowed me to expand my knowledge of the Hispanic culture through projects, food, and essays requiring research.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were being able to understand Spanish and thoroughly write and read a second language due to the amount of Spanish that was spoken between the teacher and the students.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready and prepared to work and listen. The teacher talks in Spanish 95% of the class period daily because it is through dialogue and experience that the most of the language is learned.
