    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was amazing because I was able to learn about all the world religions. It did require a lot of hard work and effort, but in the end, it was really worth it. I was so interested in this topic and especially loved learning about Buddhism.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was definitely the field trip to the mosque and synagogue. Here, students were truly able to learn about how religions affect peoples daily lives and we were able to experience the importance of understanding different cultures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend paying attention in class and taking really good notes. It is also extremely helpful to sit in the front row and get to know Mr. King on a personal level.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In comparative Cultures I gained a lot more respect and tolerance for other religious views. The material that is covered is quite extensive and the class is not an easy A, but it is well worth it. The problem with the course is not the material, it is the way that the material is taught. The class seemed poorly structured and very disorganized. With a little but more organization and less homework, this class could have received 4 stars from me.

    Course highlights:

As I stated above, my worldly view has been expanded due to this course. I understand different religions better and enjoyed learning as much as I could about them. The history of some religions is so dense it completely astonished me. The major take away was that, "to know one religion, is to know no religions at all."

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to always do your homework and listen very carefully. Also, beware the trick questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was absolutely amazing to learn about all the different types of religion throughout the world. For me, i have spent my whole life learning about my own religion and it was nice to take a step back and focus on others.

    Course highlights:

I loved watching videos on the different types of cultures and religions. We did random projects and that helped us learn more about the culture we were focusing on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of reading and you need to be prepared for the quizzes and tests.
