Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Inspired me to follow a path towards business. Financial accounting taught me the behind-the-scenes of how an administration works.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight would be how corporate institutions analyze data and use that data to make informed decisions regarding business operations. It was so interesting to see what methods are being implemented today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Paying attention is the most important advice I can give. The professor was able to go over concepts in an understandable manner and if you miss the lecture, it will hurt you on testing days.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even if you feel shaky about problems involving accounting or business, I assure you that with Mrs. Gilbert it will all be so simple to you. The way she teaches makes me so certain that no matter how new you are to accounting, she will do everything and anything to make sure that you are on the right track. She answers questions very detailed, she repeats herself, teaches cool ways to remember concepts, and will not let you down.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course to me was doing projects with software that you hear a lot of companies using like Quickbooks. You learn how to journalize, do bank reconciliations, Income statements, Balance sheets, FIFO, LIFO, and so many more concepts. You learn the several factors in a business that intertwine together to assure its success.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you are on top of your assignments, Ms. Gilbert will not let you fall behind. You do of course need to put your part into the class, but she will definitely show you that she will put her whole heart and energy into you, and consistently want to know if you are understanding okay.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in accounting or even just business. Professor Hiller does a thorough job at a good pace and tries to make sure everyone understands before moving on.

    Course highlights:

From time to time there will be group activities to be done in class. It is a great way to interact with classmates and get a better grasp on certain material. Do not be afraid to ask questions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend every class, skipping just one class can set you back quite a bit. Also, be sure to take good notes and study them after class is over.
