    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to people cause she went over things over and over again until we understood it.

    Course highlights:

I learned the parts of the body with a cadaver and not just through a picture. It was a new experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The work book, online book for studying.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course! This is the foundation for all medical sciences. It is interesting and challenging to learn human anatomy (body parts) and physiology (what those parts do), and is essential if you want to study medicine, nursing, biology, etc. We also work in the cadaver lab, which never quite lost its eerie feeling for me, but was a great learning experience. Dr. Jiang is an excellent teacher, though her accent can be difficult to understand at times, especially when learning new medical words. However, she creates her own study guide/notes for her class which are very detailed. The notes are easy to follow during lecture and great to study with after class to review the most important concepts. I took this class almost three years ago and I still have her notes!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the cadaver lab (I got to hold a lung in my hand and put my finger in a heart!) and the free class time that we used to study anatomy. There were about 100 different models around the room portraying different areas of the body (torso, skull, bones, heart) and we could walk around and look at them and quiz each other at the end of each class. Dr. Jiang created a manual with labeled pictures to study from. She also gave us a study guide at the beginning of each new topic, which we could fill out during the class and which became an invaluable tool later to study for the test.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study A LOT! Get a study group. My friends and I would make flashcards and quiz each other between classes. It also helps to find outside resources as a supplement to normal studying from a textbook/notes. Watch videos that explain the concepts, especially Khan Academy. Dr. Jiang was really good about not writing tricky questions. Basically, if you knew your material well, you could get an A or B on the exams.

    Course Overview:

Dr Jiang was an awesome teacher and made learning interesting and exciting.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge about anatomy and physiology. I Learned a lot of information about the human body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to learn a lot of information in very little time. It's a course you need to study a lot for, and know the material. There is a lot of memorizing
