    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is generally a requirement but you might not get the same teacher.

    Course highlights:

If you like lots of reading and keeping up with the updated styles of writing then this class is for you. When I was in this class MLA 7 updated to MLA 8 and to get used to typing in the style of MLA we had to write it and double space on paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to complete your homework and readings because most of your classwork assignments are based off of your independent readings.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course as a part of an online dual enrollment opportunity. I would definitely recommend this course to any writer who wants to exponentially improve his or her writing. This class is not for those who are not sincere about improving their writing because the course definitely takes dedication and persistence. I can honestly say that my writing skills improved drastically throughout the duration of this course, and it helped to better prepare me for college-styled writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned to work to meet deadlines when it came to papers and additional assignments. Also, I feel as though I gained a significant amount of knowledge and practice with MLA format. This is a writing-centered course so be prepared to improve your writing and research skills!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

TIME MANAGEMENT is critical to this course. If you do not create a plan of action for each assignment or paper, you will not do well in this class. However, if you learn to divide your time efficiently, you will excel. This is class where you definitely earn what you give.
