Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This is a very important topic for not only electronic students but also for mechanical. It helps in understanding feedback mechanisms which are used in amplifiers, hydraulic valves, cruise control in cars, and in many more applications.
We also had a lab component in this course where you will learn the concept of feedback mechanisms through some small machines. This really helps in imagining and understanding the theory.

Advice for students:
Know the basics thoroughly. Practice lot of different problems. I would recommend "Control systems engineering" by Norman Nise.
