    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking ENG 102 with Professor Manos because he gives very detailed instruction. He pushes you to improve your writing skills.

    Course highlights:

Reading "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde. It is one of my favorite books now and I have recommended it to other people multiple times.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read everything thoroughly. He gives quizzes every week, so falling behind on the reading will negatively effect your grade. Participating in the class will help you get a good grade, and showing up on time is crucial.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because literature is a an important aspect of life. You must read to learn more about our history, to understand different writing formats, etc.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on different topics of literature. My favorite were the short stories that we read and analyzed. The highlight for me was understanding different forms of writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to read all the articles and books your professor assigns to you. It will really help if you take notes while reading as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for those who have a very well established affinity for English. The course itself is very difficult, and fast paced, otherwise. The teacher is very picky with the content of the assignments that you give her, and will most definitely find at least one thing that your assignments lacked. However, she provides excellent insight and keeps a person constantly working towards their best score.

    Course highlights:

We read several stories which ranged from criticism of social mores, to the demons of soldiers at war. The class discussions online were very enlightening, and interacting with other students helps you mold your own ideas as well.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Start on your essays days before they are due, and (if you can) try to turn them in three days early, so that the teacher can tell you what you're missing, and you can revise them. Believe me, the essays are ESSENTIAL to your grade.
