Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Carter was a fantastic instructor. He has interesting topics to discuss that he has obviously spent many time studying and passionately believes in. He is very well educated - two masters and a PHD. The course is a small scope - he doesn't expect you to remember or know everything about Anthro, but he does expect you to study the information he provides.

    Course highlights:

We discuss the evolution of human biology. We learn who the first people were on Earth and how they evolved - it explains why we are different from others but also how similar we are.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

PAY ATTENTION. Do not miss class. His tests are short - so each question is worth a lot of points. He tends to repeat things if they are important, so take notice. Ask questions, be involved. I made flash cards during class for every test and did very well, I recommend doing this!

    Advice for students:

This course is simple but studying plays a major role in this course if you don't study you won't learn.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was not an easy one and you will definitely have to read your book to keep up with the lecture! Overall Dr Bartelt was very enthusiastic about the material and the information (there's a lot of it) was amazing to learn! One of the best courses i have to taken!

    Course highlights:

The different bones structures of ancient ancestors were thoroughly discussed. Great visuals are given throughout the course and having a very enthusiastic professor always makes it better!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are reading all the course material. Create picture flash cards to help memorize the different bone structures and get study mates! You'll find it easier to learn with people who are also into the course.
