    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the class if you like learning the causes of the effects of human's behaviors. Psychology only focuses on theories on people's actions, however, bio-psychology also focuses on the neurological reasons of the causes. I wouldn't recommend if your major is not psychology or if you don't have interest in learning psychological causes. The course definitely has a lot of memorizing, so beware.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is definitely learning about the brain and the body. You go deep inside of the brain and learn how the brain works and it also covers the functions of the brain thoroughly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time carefully because it does contain lots of memorizing in this course. It's way better to understand each parts than just trying to memorize, because the words are hard and there are many difficult parts you need to memorize.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Baldwin is amazing. Not only is she the sweets person on campus but the woman is google! She knows everything there is to know about biopsych and she delevers the material in a funny and easy comprehensible way. The course in itself is very interesting. Not only will you learn a lot about the brain and how it functions, Prof. Baldwin also integrate real life events and stories from which you can learn and reflect on.

    Course highlights:

Biopsych 002 is the first level of neuroscience. It combines general psychology with biology and I learned many things about myself and how other people function. I realized things that I weren't aware of about my own though process and how it influences my body and behavior.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the book! It is very important and you will not regret buying/renting the paper copy. There is a lot of material to learn and memorize so a paper copy definitely beats the electronic version. If you aren't great at biology and psychology already you will need to put more time into studying than 6-8 hr. a week.
