This class was tough.
I found American History to be a very interesting class. I really enjoyed the material, but the course itself was quite challenging. It was more self-taught than anything else and required a lot of effort to succeed.
The most obvious reason to take the course is the AP credits that can be earned by taking the exam in May. It exceeded my expectations as far as learning more about the foundation the United States was built on. I was given a deep insight into the past of this nation, and gained knowledge regarding the most influential men and women in our history.

Advice for students:
If you want to do well in the class, do not just study what was lectured on in class. Make sure to read the textbook, as well as research other outside sources. To study for the exam, buy a good prep book and review it as much as possible the couple of weeks leading up to the AP.
