    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it establishes a firm foundation in writing skills while fostering the student's ability to deeper investigate the meaning behind advanced literary works.

    Course highlights:

I learned several eras of writing styles (for example, Gothic and Romanticism), literary terms, poetry analysis, thesis statement anatomy, and many other relevant English Literature topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely understand the workload you are taking on. The reading assignments are not a joke and are to be done on time in order to succeed in the assignments and class discussions. Also be confident in your writing skills because there is a lot of timed essays, but be open to criticism as there is always room to improve.
