    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend it because the professor is so well prepared and an excellent instructor. I learned much from this professor. He knows the material extremely well and knows how to present it in an understanding way. He has the students interests in mind 100% of the time.

    Course highlights:

I learned many mechanisms and how they apply in the laboratory. This material was helpful when applied to my biology course and understanding how pharmaceutical medicine works. My favorite part of the class was attending the lectures and learning something new every day. It is fast paced and requires lots of time to grasp the subject, but with such a great instructor the class was very fun.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest making flashcards early. Every new mechanism taught should be applied to a flashcard immediately after learning to ensure it gets committed to memory. Practice problems repeatedly to make yourself faster during the exam. The biggest problem encountered during exams is running out of time.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a great class with a great professor, Always available to answer questions after his lectures and when he is free.

    Course highlights:

The experiments. Carrying out what we already learned in class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do practice exams in study groups. Racing to see who can finish a retro synthesis or a mechanism is both fun and helpful.
