    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She was not prepared and rushed over a lot of important material. She said that she had more time to teach at her last college and so she rushed through everything.

    Course highlights:

The labs were a lot of fun, it was great to see these complex ideas and principles being manifest in the labs

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will have to do a lot of work on your own and will have to seek outside help, she was not very good at getting back to the students with any other help other than "check the slides"

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think Dr.Milligan is a brilliant chemist, but he needs to realize that Chemistry doesn't come as naturally to everyone else like it did to him and that this is General Chemistry 1. He assumes that if you see a formula once, you'll completely understand how to use it and how to manipulate it using other formulas.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can study all you want for his tests but in the end, 1 or 2 of the questions on the test will have you looking at your classmates in desperation because no one knows what's going on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can take it at Pierce, do it. If not, good luck and hang in there.
