    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was the ES22 course which is the lab section, the class did not adhere to the syllabus. For an environmental science lab course there should have been weekly field trips, but there were none. The expectations for the lab notebook and water audit lab were too stretched. Interesting content, but could have been better. Would recommend taking at another school, such as Mount San Antonio College.

    Course highlights:

Learn basic principles of environmental science. This course ES22 focused a bit more on the lab portion of the science. There was a water audit and conservation methods were created and a report completed. Lots of information about the California water system, like the aquaducts and dams.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For ES22 I would recommend understanding how to use excel, and do not miss many days or lab report assignments. You can make up one assignment per semester so save that till the end. Take lots of notes every day in class and have a very organized lab notebook with a table of contents and page numbers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives insight on the current state of the environment and ways that we can help instead of hurt it. I believe this is not only good for the student but for the community that they live in because it enforces environmentally safe precautions.

    Course highlights:

I learned what the current state of the world and its environment is, and how it came to be what it is now. For example, one of the things we learned about was global warming, what caused it, and what precautions to take to slow it down.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to pay attention in class and try to take interest in the subject. For me, I became interested in learning more about the subject so I would go to office hours sometimes and it really helped not only my grade but my personal knowledge as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Tthe profession was very passionate about her subject and the passion rubs off onto the student.

    Course highlights:

This professor was the first person to introduce me to GMOs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to take the course because it introduces you to something you might not know that you are interested in.
