    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it pertains to the real world. There are so many opportunities during one's life when he or she needs to speak in front of a group of people. Having the skills to excel in the deliverance of the speech or presentation is essential. This class teaches you just that!

    Course highlights:

I learned that eye contact is necessary to give an effective and powerful speech. That eye contact is what is going to connect the speaker with the audience, which allows the speaker to become relatable to the audience. In doing so, the audience also becomes an ally. When the speaker is shaky and nervous, it is that moment of connection that the audience becomes the speaker's supporter.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would just suggest to do the work and take the class seriously. It is really not that difficult and the skills taught during the class are ones that will stay relevant through life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There was a point in my life when I would drop out classes that required a presentation. I know public speaking is hard. It is harder when you are not only shy, but also you grew up speaking another language. Take this course. Tackle your fear. In the end it feels awesome to beat your own fears.

    Course highlights:

In progress. My professor made me believe in my potential. No tough love, just words of encouragement which just be the very foundation of every speech class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If English is your second language let this be one of the last clases you take. Take English college level and a theater a class first.
