Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Choi was one of my favorite math professors at lavc. He breaks down the course by week and is willing to help you at any time. Also- he’s funny

    Course highlights:

Practice the work! Sometimes homework was super easy then tests were really hard, but overall if you take good notes you will be okay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don’t skip class. Take good notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I did feel like I learned the material. I would not recommend it if you have trouble teaching yourself from the book, since not all topics are covered in class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs because it provided the opportunity to work with my classmates and I was able to learn how to work certain problems from different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do a lot of self teaching and reading the book.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Prof Raskoff explains every topic in a way that is very easy to understand and and conducts her class where her students feel very comfortable to ask questions

    Course highlights:

I learned basic statistics concepts and how to spread a big assignment over a short period of time. A highlight would be taking the tests and realizing I have mastered a very difficult and advanced concept.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to study a lot to understand the concepts
