    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class required a lot of work but the professor was obviously passionate about the field.

    Course highlights:

This course covers a lot of the basics for chem and gives students a solid base for Organic Chem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study. It is helpful - and encouraged - to start a study group to help work through the class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Introduction to chemistry provides an eye opening course that helps understand how the world works through elements.

    Course highlights:

I loved understanding how chemicals are bound and compacted as they are introduced to another element and/or solution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be keeping up with the course material. Also, do not hesitate if you do not understand the calculations. Tutors exist for a reason.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot but I had to self teach myself everything because my teacher is a bit scatter brained and doesn't really explain things. Also he was the type that taught really fast and would move to the next subject before making sure people really understood.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot of basic chemistry and the break down of different elements. We also learned the break down, meaning, and how to make chemical equations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes and make sure that you can understand them and study them thoroughly. Make sure to keep up on your work as well. Getting behind sucks because it is very hard to get caught back up.
