    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was interesting and had thorough detail. The teacher was incredibly involved, as well as very active in helping students if they required it. She was harsh on grading, but always prepared to offer an alternative if one was not happy with their grade.

    Course highlights:

I gained a huge understanding of not just American history since the 15th century, but also of the various revolutions that occurred in the 18th and 19th centuries. For example, before this year, the French Revolution to me was merely something that happened so Victor Hugo could write a book on it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you ask questions if you have them -- Ms. Yandell doesn't bite!! Also, be sure to take detailed notes on the lectures...they appear in the tests.
