    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you really get a feel for what college is like. The class goes deep into the subject and you learn a lot about bio. You are expected to find the homework on your own and finish it with out being checked up on, this really teaches you how to manage your time. I found the material to be very interesting as well. I use what I learned in that class to this day.

    Course highlights:

This class really taught me what a challenging class was, and what it took to succeed in one. I learned so much about not only biology but also about my self and what I need to do in order to handle large work loads. I had to get used to doing my work with out a teacher checking up on me every five minuets and that has helped me in other classes too. I feel like I learned a very deep level of bio in the class and it has stuck with me since.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advise would be to stay ahead of your assignments. Do everything early and it will help you not get too stressed out. For me taking good notes was an important way for me to study for the tests. There may be temptation to slack off in large but you should not give in, those notes are vital for the tests and the AP test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course but not this teacher. I believe that Dr. Krend is a better teacher who doesn't talk as fast.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about biology and what a college course would feel like.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you like Biology I would absolutely take this class. Don't let the AP part scary you away.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class isn't as easy an AP course as many usually think. If you don't pay attention in class, no matter how boring lectures and powerpoints will be, you will fall behind. Refer to your textbook for extra help, but using external websites and googling questions has assisted me the most.

    Course highlights:

Bunnies! Though we haven't used them to make offspring yet, it's really adorable watching these guys hop around the classroom. They're also used as examples to explain some things regarding Ecology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always, ALWAYS, do homework. Every little point counts. There is no curve, and tests may be rough, even if you studied, so 100%'s on homework grades will definitely help your overall score to stay afloat.
