Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

With the major that I'd like to delve into, Anatomy is an essential course that I have to take. Mrs. Savick makes things easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs. These projects taught me about how similar animals and humans can be when compared to each other. It also teaches me the physiology of the different parts of my body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You really have to pay attention! Anatomy my sound easy enough but if you don't pay attention, then you're going to be confused, or worse, you can end up failing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

An AMAZING and very informative class. Mrs. Savick is an awesome teacher and really does a good job at teaching the information. There will be a lot of things to remember in this class, however, if you study a little each night, it will all get easier.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this course is all of the dissection labs we did as well as all of the models present. This really helped when learning about all of the different organ systems and bodily structures because sometimes it is hard to understand them when they are on paper.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the chapter and study a little each night. Pay attention in class and take extremely good notes because you will depend on them later.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is great, especially if you are interested in the body. But Mrs. Savick's teaching methods don't work for everyone. Some people need more of a teacher that will guide them through everything. She is the kind of teacher that basically wants you to so everything for yourself.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was the blood unit. We had to prick our finger and then using different serums decide which blood type you were. I've never gotten blood taken so I didn't know my blood type. I retained a lot on that unit because it fascinated me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Really pay attention to what she's saying. She'll give you notes to take but she'll also make commentary that might help you understand more. You really learn to multitask in this class.
