    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course! I find that it has prepared me for college more than any other I've ever taken. It is more fast-paced than a standard or honors class and focuses on writing and classic literature.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze and discuss topics with others in a seminar-type environment. Not only was I introduced to a wide variety of literature and writing styles, but I learned how to be an effective and consistent writer. A "highlight" of the course was when we were given opportunities to be creative with our interpretations of certain novels/works through paintings, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not plan to procrastinate if you take this course! Work can easily pile up due to the large workload. Time will need to be allotted each day for homework to avoid marathon homework sessions. Participation is also a significant part of the class, so be ready to speak in front of others about your opinions and ideas throughout the year.
