    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was one of the most challenging and difficult courses I have ever taken, but the high intensity and challenges were worth all of it. I felt so accomplished at the end of the course, so much so that I felt like I could help teach it to others. Mr. L was amazingly thorough and detail oriented because that's what it took to not only learn BC Calculus but to comprehend it.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights include feeling very knowledgeable after the course and actually being able to apply many concepts to real life. This AP class gave me insight on what a college level course would be like, and I think it is great preparation for just that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always stay on top of your work and try to do your homework the night it was assigned. It is really easy to get lost or left behind in this course if you do not devote your time and good study habits to it. Don't be afraid to ask questions during class because more often than not some kids are just as confused as you are. Also, make sure you know how to use your calculator properly for different problems, especially graphing!
