    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class was very do-it-yourself like. It was fast based, and preference based. Nearly none of the essay topics were chosen for us, and we were able to work at a steady pace.

    Course highlights:

The Rogerian outline was one of the most interesting things I've learned in any English class. It's a way to share both sides of an argument without seeming too biased. It's also a way to explain the common ground, which is what both sides agree upon.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind. There is a lot of work, but as soon as you slack off on one assignment, you're behind on all of them and they do catch up at the end of the semester. Proofread everything, at least three times.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My mind went blank on the professors name, so that more than likely isn't the right professor, but my Comp 2 professor was most definitely my favorite. He was very honest, and wasn't afraid to show you what you were doing wrong. To some people it may seem embarrassing, but it really helped me grow as a writer. I know I still make mistakes and have ways to make more progress with it, but I'm better than what I started at, and that's what matters.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to accurately write a paper, in both MLA and APA.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's a must, but it's defiantly not something you'll dread.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Castillo takes time to help each student and gives her all in teaching. She truly wants you to learn in this course.

    Course highlights:

There is a large project due by the end of the semester that is worked on throughout the semester. It is a 8-10 page paper on the topic of the students choice. Some students in the class chose to wait until the last possible second to pick their topic. I would not recommend this because as I found out, after you start the project, you may want to change the topic you originally chose and then you will end up doing more work. So give yourself time to explore different topics, don't wait until the last second and chose one that you do not enjoy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you come prepared to learn and be alert during class. This is not a course you can scrape by doing the bare minimum. It is a thorough class that goes over a lot of intense topics and discussion. Make sure you can start by your beliefs before entering this course.
