Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It allows incoming college students an opportunity to learn how to better articulate themselves.

    Course highlights:

We were allowed to watch movies, and apply the literature analysis techniques to those films.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to what the professor has to say, and keep your eyes open for extra credit. The professor usually gives lots of extra credit opportunities, so even if you don't like the class, you can still get a good grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor truly cares about his work and the students. He loves the subject. He tries to make sure the students succeed. One of my favorite things about him and the class, was how much he encouraged discussions. He wanted to hear the students' input.

    Course highlights:

We learned different forms of writing. The highlight was a form of argument called a "Rogerian Argument". It's a form of argument where the writer empathizes with each side and looks for a compromise.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You just need to put effort and time into it. It's mostly research. I recommend doing research at the library and reading books, rather than looking up every source on the internet.
