    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for someone who took biology in high school and plans to study in the science area.

    Course highlights:

I gained more knowledge on cells and a few chemistry formulas, that's needed later on in earning a Biology degree. The labs are fun, and you can learn how to make DNA from a starwberry and put what you learn to the test.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes! Read the chapters and answers the question at the end to help you review for an exam. If you took it in high school, it should be more like a review class, but also adding on to why you may already know.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course during the Summer unless you can handle the rigorous schedule because it is a shortened class. I would recommend it because it is a challenge.

    Course highlights:

I learned about taxonomy, which is the science of classification, and the processes of different cells such as an animal cell and a bacterial cell.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need plenty of time to complete the homework, quiz, and test for each chapter online. Also make time for studying, because there is a lot of memorization.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because the professor thinks that everything she is teaching is of importance even if you are not a science major. She thinks everyone is a science major and treats you like one. She takes too long to grade assignments as well.

    Course highlights:

We learned what exactly a cancer cell is and how it functions, but was part of an off topic conversation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters even though it is dry content. It will help you a lot.
